when should I stop adding docker containers to my Unraid?
pretty sure all of them require an authenticated user but this one was just fresh in my mind: https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin-web/security/advisories/GHSA-89hp-h43h-r5pq

Books / author / Book
I don't think it's currently possible to define additional data for an author (like a small summary of the authors works etc.), like the TV shows and movies do via online metadata providers. That there is no author's page and that a book series isn't grouped together is as far as I'm aware a limitation of the GUI ( https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin-web ).

When will jellyfin-android 2.5.2 will release? Is there a way for me to get latest version on github and not wait for the release on google play store?
If you build everything from source you also need to build the web client, so a small dive into the whole JavaScript / Node.js ecosystem will be required.

If this is not easily fixed im done with Jellyfin
I assume its the new version has more problems detecting the right codec as seen in this post: https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin-web/issues/3690
Sorry but you are wrong. The issue is still with Jellyfin and I assume its the new version has more problems detecting the right codec as seen in this post: https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin-web/issues/3690I could troubleshoot it so far that it is not capable of playing certain videos. It just does not even transcode or idk, it does not do its job when that's its only job.

Help With Custom Menu Links
You only have a part of the config.json file. Here's the rest. My config.json looks like this and I have my custom menu links. I did have to go into the site settings and clear all cache/data for them to show up.

Jellyfin 10.8.10 released! READ: IMPORTANT SECURITY VULNERABILITIES FIXED.
The two advisories GHSA-9p5f-5x8v-x65m and GHSA-89hp-h43h-r5pq cover a directory traversal problem which is bad enough already with an opportunity for arbitrary code execution made possible with the second advisory's Cross Site Scripting vulnerability. Combined a rogue user account could execute anything they like.
To add insult to injury the security advisory even publishes (mostly) complete code on how to actually accomplish the exploit. Shameful.

low res poster images
I found out that this only applies to posters with the wrong aspect ratio. I see that this was already fixed in earlier versions, but for some reason the problem appeared in the new version of Jell. Any ideas how to fix it or just wait for new version of Jelly? https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin-web/issues/2587 https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin-web/issues/2191 https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin/pull/5556

Is jellyfin really so much better than Plex?
They didn't make an official announcement, but I was following this github issue for a few really long months
Yup. Personally, I've installed it via dev mode, but the in the web browser it's pretty much the same experience. There is a github issue for webos 4 as well here

Why I use Jellyfin for my home media library
It should be coming for webos 5. It’s currently just held up in the review process for their store. https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin-webos/issues/99
I've also been waiting for the Jellyfin app on LG and have been following this issue: https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin-webos/issues/99
Current status LG QA is testing it and if it passes should be available in the LG Content Store soon after that.
- No DD 5.1 audio on direct stream/play of LG TV
- Plex Data Breach
