I'm a complete novice and haven't got the time to get stuck into really learning html or Jekyll or whatever I should really be doing. I've forked Jekyll Now (and this page got me started with tables) and I'm perfectly happy with the simple limited stuff I can do so far. That's all I need for now.

I was doing the above at first but then when I was looking at themes for my Jekyll site I found a way easier method. You can just fork this repo on Github: (https://github.com/barryclark/jekyll-now).
