Is still safe to use steam idle?
Why should they? But be sure to use Open Source Projects like https://github.com/JustArchiNET/ArchiSteamFarm or https://github.com/JonasNilson/idle_master_extended so that no funny business happens due to your account due to shady idler programs. Idler programs simply mimic what you're doing and Steam doesn't care about you actually played the game or idled the time since Playtime is IR-reversible and the more you idle, the more you can't refund the game which suits them well.

SteamDeck not logging offline playtime/achievements is ridiculous
There's literally a tool for automating it lol https://github.com/JonasNilson/idle_master_extended

I made an addon to integrate Guild Wars 2 with Steam
I found no Steam ToS objections, also, projects like Idle Master have been used extensively by many people for a long time, and they leverage the same technique. As for ArenaNet, I could not find any ToS violation either, and my forum post asking for confirmation was not met with a response. I could see how this would muddy the waters of their Steam analytics somewhat (in terms of player retention per platform etc.), but that remains to be seen.

Around 3000 trading cards quick sold and 80β¬ made. Could probably have made a bit more with some patience but meh.. Now I have money to buy some new games and earn new trading cards!
This is the Github where you can read about it and download.
You can read everything about Steam Idle Master on the creators Github page. (There is a log in bug right now though, donβt know if he addressed that yet.)

[PSA][STEAM] Next Fest June 2022 badge - Play any Demo to unlock it
How to get it without downloading a demo: Download idlemaster extended, or old version of idlemaster will work https://github.com/JonasNilson/idle_master_extended/releases
- It doesn't not look very neo.

So is boosting hours played a thing or am I crazy? I've never seen anything like this so seeing 400+ games with 15k to 20k hours each is nuts..
why the fuck do people sell this software when https://github.com/JonasNilson/idle_master_extended is free lets you set several games and blacklist games.

My first homelab: a ThinkCentre M920Q with Proxmox, LXCs, homepage + my install notes and guide
ArchiSteamFarm (link) - This is a robust service that farms for Steam cards. I don't know what steam cards are lol, but I use it entirely as a backend to claim free Steam games using this plugin. The plugin is cool, it scans reddit for posts of free games then claims them for you.

Guys please recommend some interesting docker containers. What I currently have is seems to be ok, but I'm missing solutions that will make me get into it more. I know those long Reddit listings of self-hosted apps, but I haven't found many interesting things there.
Archi's Steam Farm for auto farming those stupid Steam cards: https://github.com/JustArchiNET/ArchiSteamFarm

What is the program that gets you all your trading cards automatically?
There are a bunch of them, but ASF is leagues above the rest. It's a little harder to setup than the others, but it does a lot more and it's basically set it and forget it once you have it done.
There are many but current best is ASF (open source so safe) & if you have problems setting it, YouTube has tutorials.

Ask HN: Those making $0/month or less on side projects β Show and tell
ArchiSteamFarm: https://github.com/JustArchiNET/ArchiSteamFarm
I've been developing ASF for last 8 years with very active attitude, 10k commits with over 7k commits made by me (98.6% of all excluding bots and automation). While I do offer various donation options, the program was always free and open-source, and the overall amount of hours I've put into this would probably make at least several years of senior-level salary by now.
One of my finest creations that helped a lot of Steam users. The program was used approximately at 2.5 million of Steam accounts overall, having solid 30k downloads of each monthly release.

Any way to sell all steam cards easily?
Maybe take a look at using asf https://github.com/JustArchiNET/ArchiSteamFarm to get all those precious trading cards. Assuming you actually want them, of course. :)
-
Any way to export keys to txt or csv and then import them to steam in bulk?
For anyone else looking into this, assuming you're already with ASF, I think this is what you want, you can drop a bunch of text into a file and it'll find the keys and attempt to redeem them: https://github.com/JustArchiNET/ArchiSteamFarm/wiki/Background-games-redeemer

Help, My brother filled my library with 7000 steam games
First install ArchiSteamFarm should be pretty straight forward, you don't need to save any details or bother with any configs since we're not going to use it for its intended purposes, everything default is more than enough
