You just have to do different shit every few years as they make things more difficult. I finally looked up the best solution recently: the Adblock app with Blackjack’s https://github.com/BlackJack8/iOSAdblockList will block YouTube and all other ads on iOS 16 for Firefox

Best free iOS ad-blocker now that 1BlockerX costs money?
I doesn’t auto update on free but I use this list to block most if not all ads- link

Blocklist question: if oisd uses 1hosts, I don't need to add 1hosts. Is that right?
This has probably been asked before but will we be able to choose our own list we like? I.E this list something among those lines.

Customer filter lists not working?
https://github.com/notracking/hosts-blocklists seems dead. https://raw.githubusercontent.com/DandelionSprout/adfilt/master/LegitimateURLShortener.txt should work except the regex rules.

Receiving this TLS certificate error on all proton applications
had the same issue, was caused by notracking

I built a map of countries where Google Analytics is illegal
Unfortunate that the map is on your simpleanalytics.com site. NextDNS tells me it is blocked by the notracking list: https://github.com/notracking/hosts-blocklists
