Terminal commands I use as a frontend developer
I am using iTerm2 on my macOS. Other available options are Hyper and VS Code’s inbuilt terminal, which I sometimes use for quick tests. You can open a terminal in VS Code by using the keyboard shortcut CMD + J or CTRL + J on Windows, or View → Terminal.

Application-Specific Terminals
I think that’s more or less what this project is working towards:
-
Tools I like
Hyper*
- Tabby: A terminal for a more modern age
-
ECMA Proposal: Renaming JavaScript to "Hyper"
So hyper would be written in hyper?
- My Dashboard / Theme setup
-
Software Developer Mac Apps
Hyper in conjunction with fig (I also have iterm2, but I like Hyper pretty well) and brew.
-
Vercel claiming credit for making Webpack
At the time we were listing projects like Hyper and Micro alongside our other better known ones. As those projects became less of a focus, I believe someone with good intentions in the team wanted to prioritize the ones we contribute to instead that are relevant to our frontend focus, and not confuse our audience.

A cyberpunk dark theme for prolonged use, color-blind safe, now supports such as VSCode, Vim, iTerm2, Terminal.app, and more, with continuous support being added.
A theme for Hyper would be awesome!
- HyperShell: Spawn shells anywhere. Fully peer-to-peer

Easy Effects: Audio effects for PipeWire applications
Very useful program, but god the UI is so bad..
As if it was designed for a touchscreen interface, and yet still poorly done, doesn't respect your aspect ratio, wastes ton of empty space, and the transition animation looks jarring
Gnome UX is killing the linux fun to me..
They want to clone the macOS UX, but they don't understand what makes it great..
Look at this beauty of an UX: https://eqmac.app/

Movies too quiet and too loud? Guide to a MacOS Volume Compressor / Normaliser / Limiter
eqMac: open-source, AUD$4.5/mth or AUD$60 outright. UI is a bit cluttered but pretty simple to use once you get the hg of it

Does the graph translate to Db's? Let's say to I need to add 10db of bass at 20hz to get a neutral sound?
eqMAC is the one I found. I have no experience with macs but it appears to have all the audio features you're gonna want. I recommend never ever using gaming headphone software, it is rarely good.

How to eq headphones?
Besides this, I have seen people recommend SoundSource ($42) or eqMac (free GEQ, $40 for PEQ)

Why Apple? Why???!!!!!
I suggest trying the free EQMac first. I bought Boom 2 several years ago.
