The 2024 Web Hosting Report
Docker itself intended to build the answer here, it was the deployment platform of the future and was going to be the heart of their business model. It was called “docker swarm” and unfortunately by the time it arrived there was a fragmented market of already-adopted solutions. Docker as a package format was a runaway winner, and Docker Hub (which became the foundation for the current Docker, Inc. business) was widely used. But the fragmented runtime market left room for a new entrant: (drumroll please…) enter Kubernetes. It was a “community-driven open source project” that was in fact funded and well-staffed by Google engineers, and rose quickly on the claim of being an open-source implementation of Google’s storied internal cluster management system called “borg.”

Help "packaging" static content for nginx?
However, lately I've been driven to insanity trying to set up a homer dashboard without Docker, using nginx. I have pretty minimal experience with hosting in general so I'm not sure how much of my problem is from misunderstanding nginx vs. misunderstanding nixos.
- Webserver to rule them all, to work as a fowarding and encrypting

Homepage with multiple 'homepages'
Homer supports multiple pages (like tabs), so you could perhaps set up different pages/tabs for the separate interests.

[Homer Dashboard Help] Lock Screen
Hi r/selfhosted! I was wondering if there was any sort of plugin for Homer that sets up a login screen. I've tried looking on GitHub but the terms "homer lock" and "homer login" doesn't warrant results for the plugin I am looking for.

Web page for all selfhosted services?
Ohh you got a lot of options here. My personal favorite is Dashy, which is the most feature-rich of all and has powerful theming options. There's also Heimdall and Organizr, which seem to be popular with the community. Homer is another option. That's not a definitive list

Show HN: Float – Minimalist Home Infra Start Page
I tried many Homelab start pages like homer[1], Dashy[2] etc, But was not happy with them. They seems very overkill just for managing different links.
So yesterday night I decide to create a static page myself driven with YAML configurations "Float".
