anyone have a detailed How-to
I used this as reference and was able to translate it to gdrive: https://github.com/animosity22/homescripts
-
The complete guide to building your personal self hosted server for streaming and ad-blocking powered by Plex, Jellyfin, Adguard Home and Docker.
Another cool resource is HomeScripts. Lots of good little tidbits there. One point of interest might be the gmedia service and the file structure used, as outlined in the readme.
- LastPass is finally a no-brainer to ditch: Bitwarden?

Can Socks5 + Port Forwarding makes me “connect-able”?
Referring to this repo https://github.com/animosity22/homescripts, I’ve learned that setting an additional IP and get qBittorrent to bind to that IP seems to be a little easier.

Best way to join folders that are located in two different hard drives
Technically, mergerfs has some tooling that allows duplication that should preserve data in cases of a drive failure: https://github.com/trapexit/mergerfs-tools
-
Scalable Home Storage
It should also be mentioned for those that read this, mergerfs has a set of tools that allows for the "duplication" of data should you need redundancy across your pool. ***Obligatory note that redundancy is not the same as having a backup.

UnionFileSystem - Started with wrong policy, need help with mergerfs.balance, is it available from web GUI? (ELI5)
From the mergerfs-tools github page, the "mergerfs.balance" tool should do the trick. It requires rsync.
What are some alternatives?

libDrive - libDrive is a Google Drive media library manager and indexer, similar to Plex, that organizes Google Drive media to offer an intuitive and user-friendly experience.

docker-mergerfs - https://github.com/trapexit/mergerfs in docker
DietPi - Lightweight justice for your single-board computer!
ezarr - Ezarr aims to make it as easy as possible to setup an entire Servarr/Jackett/BitTorrent/Usenet/PleX/Jellyfin mediacenter stack using Docker
cloudplow - Automatic rclone remote uploader, with support for multiple remote/folder pairings. UnionFS Cleaner functionality: Deletion of UnionFS whiteout files and their corresponding files on rclone remotes. Automatic remote syncer: Sync between different remotes via a Scaleway server instance, that is created and destroyed at every sync.
Strongbox - A KeePass/Password Safe Client for iOS and OS X
