homebridge VS homebridge-syno-spk

I've been trying to set up Homebridge on Hyper-V using the guide provided here: https://github.com/homebridge/homebridge/wiki/Install-Homebridge-on-Windows-10-Using-Hyper-V

Search on the main page (https://homebridge.io/) for plugins that work with the devices you can't add directly to homekit. If you find what you need then you're probably good to go ahead with it, though not all the plugins are completely reliable. Sometimes there's more than one for a given device though.

I'm new to Node-Red and programming in general. I'm trying to pass humidity and temp reading from my Pimoroni Enviro Indoor to my HomeBridge setup. The Enviro Indoor will POST every 5 minutes a JSON that looks like this

I noticed there is a new release of Homebridge 3.0.17 available in the Synology Package Manager. Does anyone know of a change log I can follow? I see this is labeled as pre-release in the repo, but I don't see any details on changes in most of the version notes. I'd just like to see what's new before installing.

This was based on the instruction I found here: https://github.com/oznu/homebridge-syno-spk/issues/29 But I seem to be having an issue. This is the message I get in the logs:

FYI, if you're going to install Homebridge use the official package. I had performance issues running it in Docker.

Recently switched over to the Homebridge (Oznu) package for easier maintaining.
