Samsung TV and HomeBridge
I also did not get the pair pop up until I did this (from the wiki), then restarted HomeBridge. On TV go to Settings - General - External Device Manager - Device Connection Manager - Device List and make sure you didn't select Deny. Try to hard reset your TV. To do this turn ON the TV then press on power key from the remote for 3 seconds until TV restarts and show Samsung logo. Still not seeing the TV in HomeKit, but at least it got me past this step.

HomeKit and Samsung TVs with Matter
In order to use this type you must setup SmartThings API! Read over here how to do it: https://github.com/tavicu/homebridge-samsung-tizen/wiki/SmartThings-Setup
Which plugin are you using? I use homebridge-samsung-tizen and I see my TV status and can control inputs in the Home app. It does require an active SmartThings account, but I couldn’t be happier with this plugin.

Turning off thermostat if door(s) open for more than 10 minutes (using homebridge, SSH, JSON REST API, AppleScript)
I'm fairly new to HomeKit, but have a fair amount of home automation hardware (ecobee thermostat, Insteon door, motion, and water sensors, Insteon light switches, Logitech Harmony Hubs, etc.). Have been migrating everything over from Indigo over the past few weeks, including upgrading to an eero wifi network (excellent!) and using Homebridge to bring in the Insteon hardware (with the Homebridge Platform InsteonLocal plugin). Bringing the hardware in and controlling it with basic steps was pretty straightforward.
