Send push notification when temperature below or above XX degree
I’m using Automation switches for that. You can basically set the switch to be triggered as soon as the temperature reaches a certain value. In Apple‘s Home App, you can configure notifications to be triggered if the automation switch is activated.

Automation With A Delay
You don’t run automations via Siri, you run scenes. Homebridge delay switch is the simplest way to achieve what you described. In the bedtime scene turn on your bedroom light and the delay switch configured to 5min then make an automation for when that switch turns off to also turn off the living room lights.

When i test this automation it runs fine(lights on, wait 30 sec, turn off lights), but when its actually triggered(via motion sensor) the lights wont turn off at the end. What am i doing wrong?
I have delay switches setup on a Homebridge that activate a trigger off event.
