macOS Install Guide
You will need to install homebrew. ARM users will also need Rosetta (I think), but homebrew should be the native version. Next we need wine that can run 32 bit binaries: brew install --cask --no-quarantine gcenx/wine/wine-crossover.

[Guide] How to run Nuclear Throne on MacOS X 15+
The standard Wine package also stopped working with the Catalina update. To get around this, we'll use a specific version of Wine, developed by Gcenx, made for MacOS 10.15+. To install it, you first need to install Homebrew. To do this, open the application Terminal (the easiest way to do this is hit Cmd + Space, then type "Terminal", then hit return), type in the following command, and hit return:

KotOR 1 modding on MacOS
Ah, sorry, I assumed from you mentioning installing Wine that you had Homebrew already. Yeah, you need to install Homebrew, there's a command to copy on its website. Once that's done, you need to run the command on the page I linked above to install the fixed version of Wine. After that completes, you should be able to just run the exe (it may prompt you for permission to access a folder or two first), or if not it'll probably ask you to pick which app to use if you try (in which case you can just select Wine Crossover from the list it presents).
It looks like if you need to run Windows apps on Catalina or above, this version of Wine is necessary. I'm not sure where the data folder for the app is, though.

Wine 7.0
CrossOver’s Wine builds have wine32on64 to run x86_32 programs using Rosetta 2 on M1 macs.
Available at https://github.com/Gcenx/homebrew-wine if you want to use a free build for example.

Tip: I use Rectangle app to set up keyboard shortcuts to resize windows (I only have three shortcuts there: left/right half of the screen and full screen).

Everything I install and set up on a new MacBook as a web developer
I was a Spectacle user for years, but I recently switched to using Rectangle for window management. Rectangle has a few more options than Spectacle; I’m still getting used to it but I have no strong feelings either way.

Yabai – A tiling window manager for macOS
Has anyone transitioned from moom to magnet?
Rectangle is another oss option: https://github.com/rxhanson/Rectangle
I bought Moom long before rectangle came out, both are pretty decent.
I like rectangle [0]. It fits my needs well enough without requiring disabling SIP. I especially like the “repeated key presses resize a window on the same side” feature, so I can get cycle the size of the window on the right side of the screen from 1/2->1/3->2/3 easily. I miss i3 sometimes and this ain’t an identical replacement but it gets the job done! Turns out I don’t move my windows all that often anyways.
Why would you pay for magnet when you can use rectangle, which is the same but open source? https://github.com/rxhanson/Rectangle
