The term binfluencer is being used on this sub. What do you call someone like me who has colour coded reminders on their google calender?
I've gone a step further - I let my home automation setup remind me using a home assistant integration I found: https://github.com/bruxy70/Garbage-Collection

Set state based on 2 inputs?
https://github.com/bruxy70/Garbage-Collection on Home Assistant will manage the schedule and set state that you can then read form NodeRed to do things like light something up to warn you, etc.

I've used this integration in HACS for the recycling component: https://github.com/bruxy70/Garbage-Collection

Help with Task Completion
I use the garbage collection sensor custom integration (Link). Despite it being named garbage collection, it is a very powerful countdown to scheduled tasks sensor. You can set it up for all sorts of schedules so hopefully it works for you. Then you can have automations trigger off of the sensor value to know when it is close to going off, or due.

Finally happy...almost
The trash schedule is another HACS integration although you can add it manually. Details can be found at https://github.com/bruxy70/Garbage-Collection
- I wrote a sensor to scrape my town's garbage collection schedule (used BeautifulSoup)

Generating sensor logs for a Lovelace card
Not in default HA, but you could 100% repurpose the Garbage Collection HACS integration for this! https://github.com/bruxy70/Garbage-Collection

How to set an 'every other week' in node red?
Are you running NodeRed on HomeAssistant? If so look at the Garbage Collection integration. I'm not kidding! It's perfect for creating a sensor that enables every other week on a specific day of the week. Then just watch for that sensor in NodeRed and take action accordingly.
