Should raw library bindings drop the namespace prefix?
For context, I have written complete bindings to five different C libraries (freetype2, libvorbis, libspng, al, Chipmunk2D) and the question in the title may very well be the last one I have concerning FFI for quite some time. The question originates from the fact that chiphunk strips prefixes, something no other low-level library I've seen does.
What are some alternatives?
proteaaudio - Simple audio library for Windows, Linux, OSX. Supports Ogg and Wav playback and multichannel mixing.
djembe - Hit drums with Haskell
FModExRaw - FModEx Haskell API. Discontinued.
ALUT - A Haskell binding for the OpenAL Utility Toolkit, which makes managing of OpenAL contexts, loading sounds in various formats and creating waveforms very easy.
bindings-portaudio - Raw bindings for portaudio 2.0
vimus - An MPD client with vim-like key bindings, written in Haskell
jammittools - Export sheet music (PDF) and audio (WAV) from the Windows/Mac app Jammit
rubberband - Haskell binding to the C++ audio stretching library Rubber Band
pitchtrack - Pitch tracking library
