I’m building a privately operated but community accessible weather station/cam network in our small city. What brand/model would you recommend?
I am no weather hardware expert but I have the Ambient Weather WS-5000. Paired with a GW1100 you can capture all the data and send it to a MQTT server. You can then easily post it to a URL for your Wordpress server to pickup.

Hackable all-in-one weather station?
I discovered ecowitt2mqtt the other day. And then discovered that the cheap eBay weather station I bought a few years ago is a re-branded Ecowitt.
