How can i display RTSP live stream directly in our react js web application
2 projects | reddit.com/r/reactjs | 28 Jul 2021
We ran into the same issue at our company a while ago. We solved it by converting RTSP to HLS with https://github.com/Roverr/rtsp-stream, and using https://github.com/video-dev/hls.js/ to stream the video in the web app.
What are some alternatives?
go-m3u8 - Parse and generate m3u8 playlists for Apple HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) in Golang (ported from gem https://github.com/sethdeckard/m3u8)
Pion WebRTC - Pure Go implementation of the WebRTC API
golibnotify - Go bindings for libnotify -- Create and update OS notifications in linux
stash - An organizer for your porn, written in Go
go-libav - Go language bindings for ffmpeg libraries
rtsp-simple-server - ready-to-use RTSP / RTMP / HLS server and proxy that allows to read, publish and proxy video and audio streams
libvlc-go - Go bindings for libVLC and high-level media player interface
