I was really interested in doing breakbeat type stuff with samples on the op-z so I wrote a program that takes a sound and converts to op-z format (<12 s, 44.1khz mono .aif) while also adding in the correct metadata for equally spaced sample start points. the program is open source and I also made it available as a website (teoperator.com).
