    ZFS incremental snapshots. This will send encrypted datasets to the remote server. They don't need to be mounted (or password known on the remote node). Also manages snapshots retention. Setup as a cronjob and your backup server will essentially be a mirror of your local ZFS datasets, encrypted and no local access.
