10-bit and 4:2:2 Chroma Subsampling support for AV1?
I don't see this options under the "Advanced features" like for H.265/HEVC (for example). Also, adding "-input-depth 10" manually to the command line doesn't work (it doesn't recognize the parameter, despite it clearly being written here as one of them).

I find it interesting that you know the project well enough to get to the pre-compiled binaries page, yet somehow missed that the merge request explictly calls out a VMAF LOSS for the SSIM tune by several percentage points.

Have you looked at rigayas hardware encoders instead of ffmpeg to see if issues is also present in QSVEncC ? https://github.com/rigaya/QSVEnc

Can anyone point us at a windows x64 ffmpeg build with av1_qsv support working?
Not quite what you asked for but I would highly recommend Rigaya's hardware encoder with AV1 support. Has more features (like hdr10+ / dolby vision) and I like using them more. https://github.com/rigaya/QSVEnc

Encoding HDR10 mastering-display metadata using AV1_QSV?
I ended up playing with rigaya's QSVEnc (or NVEnc) and got it working for HEVC, for example using the "--master-display" flag, but according to the documentation this doesn't work with AV1 yet. https://github.com/rigaya/QSVEnc

Intel A380 performance - advice wanted!
But I actually got through it and found a great solution for myself using StaxRip and an updated QSVEnc by Rigaya. Replace StaxRip's outdated QSVEnc with the updated Rigaya QSVEnc.

The only one I know of that can take advantage on Intel's hardware av1 encoder currently is qsvenc, which is some random Japanese encoder that I'd never heard of until recently.
