git VS wsltty

If you don't know git, why you are here mate? So if you do know git and you use it almost every day so sometimes you google the git command that you don't use often. So here I am just asking for a git command that you use often with a single-line title, summary, and your GitHub username. So, comment down the git command. I want it just because I am making a gist that will contain useful commands so that people don't need to google it again and again.

Git - a free and open-source distributed version control system (VCS)

For serious collaboration you should probably look into GIT and services like GitHub. It's not very intuitive, even scary for some, but it is powerful and very much a standard for letting a group of people work on a common code-base. However, for a father-son project it will probably be easier to just work with Google docs or Dropbox or whatever means you have to share files with each other.

If you're a professional software engineer, there's at least a 99.99% chance you know what Git is, and you probably use it almost every day. The tangible work you produce is typically a series of Git commits and branches. The end result is the current version of your application.

You should also learn Git which is nowadays an "industry standard" version control system. It allows you to log changes in your projects (scientific analyses, software packages etc.) and collaborate with others. You need to feel somewhat comfortable in the terminal to master Git but VSCode also offers nice features in their editor interface to make it easier to work with. Git will very quickly become part of your daily workflow.

Git is software that many of us computer programmers use for managing all the code that we write. It's built to allow these kinds of comparisons, retrieve old versions of things, see who changed what, and so on.

(this is gonna sound very mean, sorry about that) You should probably rm -rfd .git and stop version-controlling your project with Git until you have learned at least the basics. Terminal and WSLtty

I still want to open files with umlaut from explorer through WSL vim. I had an error with wslbridge2.exe that could be fixed here: https://github.com/mintty/wsltty/issues/273

Well i use self patched JetBrains Mono with Mintty from wsltty as for Windows 10 Tahoma is font of choice with ClearCrap disabled.
