Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.
We haven't tracked posts mentioning giphy-api yet.

I also had a use case where I needed to extract the nix derivation dependencies of haskell packages: https://github.com/obsidiansystems/obelisk/pull/933
Web development in Haskell

There's also GHCJS, with https://github.com/obsidiansystems/obelisk being (probably) the best choice, but personally I found it extremely tedious to set up a dev environment (not a nix guy) and there's also the learning curve of FRP.

I can't speak to the nicest way, as I haven't actually developed any Android apps with Haskell, but I've been meaning to give Obelisk a try.
Best and most current library for Functional Reactive Programming?
2 projects | reddit.com/r/haskell | 6 Mar 2022
when it comes to applything FRP to GUI, you should definitely choose Obelisk (based on Reflex) over Threepenny-GUI (more or less based on Reactive-banana). here is why.
Anything like Svelte/Jetpack Compose for Haskell?

Is threepenny-gui really reactive?

If you really want FRP, use Obelisk (based on Reflex-Dom. I will call just say "Obelisk" to refer to Obelisk's dependencies Reflex-Dom, Reflex,... too). I like the author of threepenny-gui and the library has the great advantages of not needing GHCJS (Obelisk does not need GHCJS either theoretically but I do not know how easy it currently is to make it work without) nor Nix. But the library was originally built as a non-FRP library and it has been lacking essential FRP combinators for a long time.
What is the current state of Haskell in iOS?

Note that Obelisk will happily run on Android and iOS, but uses reflex-dom and appropriate web view widgets on each platform.
How can Obelisk detect that i am inside an Obelisk project?

FWIW, the error message comes from https://github.com/obsidiansystems/obelisk/blob/master/lib/command/src/Obelisk/Command/Project.hs#L224 so you can see what it's trying to do.2 projects | reddit.com/r/haskell | 31 May 2021
I created a new Obelisk Project with "ob init" and then pushed it to Github. Now i want to work on the project with my notebook, so I cloned the project and tried to run it via "ob run". I get the following Error:
What are some alternatives?
reflex-platform - A curated package set and set of tools that let you build Haskell packages so they can run on a variety of platforms. reflex-platform is built on top of the nix package manager.
reflex-native - Framework for writing fully native apps using Reflex, a Functional Reactive Programming library for Haskell.
vscode-ghc-simple - Simple GHC (Haskell) integration for VSCode
reflex - Interactive programs without callbacks or side-effects. Functional Reactive Programming (FRP) uses composable events and time-varying values to describe interactive systems as pure functions. Just like other pure functional code, functional reactive code is easier to get right on the first try, maintain, and reuse.
nix - Nix, the purely functional package manager
godot-haskell - Haskell bindings for GdNative
miso - :ramen: A tasty Haskell front-end framework
oidc-client - OpenID Connect 1.0 client (RP) library for Haskell
Elm - Compiler for Elm, a functional language for reliable webapps.
reflex-dom - Web applications without callbacks or side-effects. Reflex-DOM brings the power of functional reactive programming (FRP) to the web. Build HTML and other Document Object Model (DOM) data with a pure functional interface.
api-rpc-factom - Haskell JSON-RPC client for the Factom protocol
