However, today I decided to check how the rates are via this pull simulator and holy shit, this is worse than FGO dumping mapo tofu on you. If this sim is accurate, there's a chance that the game just gives you weapons and no characters. I don't think this game is f2p friendly at all just by going off of the drop rates.

I looked at simulators for games that the kids like, like Genshin Impact: https://gi-wish-simulator.uzairashraf.dev/ and noticed that we could almost use this in my DIY, rules light adventures. But there's a lot going on. It's too complex. Still, something like this could offload a lot of the heavy lifting.

If it helps, theres an online genshin wish simulator. I never used it but things like these exist, and hopefully it might scratch that itch you have

Twst isn’t the only gacha I play, so I pull somewhere else. If I’m saving there too, then some games have fan made simulators such as Genshin and FGO

Does anybody else in the game have "ElementalArt_RayCast"? Google hasn't seen that anywhere until today. https://github.com/Dimbreath/GenshinData has a bunch of ElementalArt_* but not ElementalArt_RayCast. Dunno where the leaked internal stuffs could be looked at. If it's a completely new one then it probably means literally casting rays and not hitscan?

the wiki should have pulled straight from a datamine of game files though it is sometimes difficult to understand.

But no one does that even for the live game, much less for the betas (this only has the text and none of the models and images)

The algorithm is fairly simple: it fetches artifact upgrade stats from Dimbreath, iterates over maximal stat upgrades and computes the maximal increase of an user-defined target function. I also have a mode for computing the average damage increase (as opposed to maximum), but it's much slower to compute.
