Modern Linux Tools vs. Unix Classics: Which Would I Choose?
Using awk/sed to parse json seems to be using the wrong tool for the job.

I wrote something similar to this to query JSON and JSON lines with python instead of awk for text. Itβs called Jellex (Jello Explorer) which is a TUI front-end to Jello. Jello is a python analog to JQ.
