For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Flysystem is a filesystem abstraction. Use this library to replace the local file system with a remote file system.

I built a wrapper around Google Vision API, Check it out
It could be phpleage/flysystem so I could use FTP, S3 or something else, your system shouldnt care where the file comes from, just that you can get the content of the file :)

Adapter Pattern vs. Bridge Pattern
Another common thing is to write data to files. Files that may be located somewhere else, like: an FTP server, a Dropbox folder or Google Drive. One of the most used packages for writing data to files is thephpleague/flysystem. This packages provides a FilesystemAdapter interface that can have specific implementations. And because of this Target interface, others can build 3rd-party packages that provide another Filesystem; like: spatie/flysystem-dropbox by Spatie.
- ⚠️ A security advisory was created for league/flysystem. Please upgrade to 1.1.4 or 2.1.1.

Do you take physical notes while working on your game? Or just play around and learn by doing?
I use a combination of: * Markdown (for notes and code blocks) * Mermaid markdown (for architectural diagrams in markdown documents) * PlantUML markdown (again for arch. docs in markdown, but mainly for C4 diagrams) * a Docker container to render PlantUML markdown to images * Joplin, installed on every device I regularly use * NextCloud, to store, secure, encrypt, and make available everywhere, the markdown notes managed by Joplin

How might you build a cohesive ecosystem of devices with Linux?
Here are some thing I have been successfully using: - for PDF files sync, check SyncThing (open source) or Resilio Sync (free) - for calendar sync and cloud storage, check NextCloud. You’ll have to host it somewhere accessible from your phone, which usually means having a static IP. This means either hosting on something like Linode or running it on your Pi and connecting all your devices using Tailscale (open source) or Zerotier.

¿What Cloud Storage can I use?
pCloud is good but if you want more control in case the company or server goes down then I would self-host nextcloud and exercise good backups with the 3-2-1 backup method. This would be a "centralized server" but its controlled by you which makes it more private. If you are absolutely set on using distributed storage (which I really advice against doing) then look into Tahoe-FAFS.

Other than Red Hat and Canonical, what are some good examples of companies successfully selling open source software?
Proton open sources the client code for all of their services (although the backend logic is proprietary). Nextcloud provides enterprise support / hosting, and their software suite is fully open source.

change birthday calendar name
I started using the contacts feature (in combination with CardDAV) recently. Even though I really like the idea of having a 'Contacts birthdays' calender automatically generated from my contacts, I dislike the name and color assigned to it - and it's unchangeable from the GUI apparently. The following issue points out a similar problem. Is there any way to change it?

Nextcloud (version 3.20.1): Synchronization client
What are some alternatives?
OpenMediaVault - openmediavault is the next generation network attached storage (NAS) solution based on Debian Linux. It contains services like SSH, (S)FTP, SMB/CIFS, DAAP media server, RSync, BitTorrent client and many more. Thanks to the modular design of the framework it can be enhanced via plugins. OpenMediaVault is primarily designed to be used in home environments or small home offices, but is not limited to those scenarios. It is a simple and easy to use out-of-the-box solution that will allow everyone to install and administrate a Network Attached Storage without deeper knowledge.
