Bonus solution in Go (golang) because I was confused about why my Elixir solution didn't work and decided to implement from scratch in case I'd done something dumb. The Go one also got the wrong answer, but took less than 100ms instead of a minute, so I could try out lots of tweaks that didn't change the answer.

I spent time this afternoon sprucing up my helpers for the iex REPL. I spent a bunch of time poking at things in IEx the last couple days and wanted to make sure I would minimize keystrokes if I needed to debug things on my phone while drunk. Turns out Thursday night > Friday night > Saturday night in terms of difficulty, so all those macros have so far saved me zero seconds :-)

23. Raku - $79,448

Pakku is a package manager for the Raku Programming Language. Latest releases of Pakku are part of Pakku Celastrina version family. Celastrina name means elegant and beutiful, So I will take the opportunity to introduce how elegant IMO Pakku handles Raku distributions.

This became one of the first things that needed to be done, to be able to say the new implementation would be matching the old. During the development of these tests, it became clear there were some inconsistencies in the existing implementation, and worse: outright bugs.

Originally, I thought I'd name this series of blog posts "RakuAST for Beginners". But since documentation on RakuAST is pretty non-existent at this stage, I felt I would be doing people a service by making clear that they will be at the very front of development in the Raku Programming Language if they start dabbling in RakuAST.

Well, performance has been improved by several orders of magnitude since the first release. So maybe it's time to look at https://raku.org again (or first have a look at its new documentation site https://docs.raku.org)

And installed inside Docker container few packages needed for the task - Raku language, its package manager Zef, database connector DBIish and support for SQLite:
