Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Competitive Programming setup
for leetcode specifically, i use firenvim to start a neovim session in the text area that would normally be leetcode's area and then have an autocmd that looks for "leetcode" in the filename and prompts me to select a filetype.
-
Feeling super slow...
Yea worth it. As far as good for certain languages over others: text is text. Once youβre more experienced with how (neo)vim works, you wonβt want to type anywhere. Like in the browser or obsidian

Firenvim in Big query console?
In general, for "rich text editors", firenvim needs to add special handling. For example firenvim supports CodeMirror (or used to): https://github.com/glacambre/firenvim/pull/623

Please support "skip to main content" on your docs site
You can do better than the Tab key when navigating a site via keyboard. Install a plugin that creates hotkeys for most actions on a site. I'm thinking of Vimium [1] but I'd guess there are others too.

* Handicapping the the app
* Firefox prefers to invest time and money in side projects, either because they're lost, or because Google tells them to
> ..they had too much access to browser internals..
All apps have to much access, that's is the same lame excuse Google is using now. All extensions are reviewed by Google/Mozilla and manually installed by the user. If they can't keep them safe they should quit and hire someone who can
And especially Chrome already gives access to USBs, filesystem, etc..

help with vimium hints
I think the short answer is no. If a feature like that wasn't already mentioned in the dev's notes, then someone will need to create a patch for it. I've never used vimium, but everything you need to know is on their github page here.
