How do you monitor your Prometheus instances?
I made this Python Dead Man's Switch but I have not used it in kubernetes yet because I no longer use alertmanager. So I need to adapt it for my new use cases.

What is the coolest thing you have automated?
In recent memory the thing I'm most proud of is my Dead man's switch for Prometheus alertmanager. I did not come up with the concept but it does resolve a real issue that could totally bite you if you're not careful. Namely, how to know if your Alertmanager is still working to send alerts.
