Ethereum Foundation removes their canary
The "bigger"/more extensive website is ethereum.org (https://github.com/ethereum/ethereum-org-website), guess people aren't as interested in the foundation as they are in the project itself. I think that's pretty standard in the cryptocurrency scene.

There are over 7000 pending validators on the Ethereum test net. Looks like a lot of people want to practice staking before the Shanghai hardfork

How to merge an Ethereum network right from the genesis block
