2024 Cheat Sheet Collection
Easings: When working with animations and transitions, Easings provides a comprehensive cheat sheet for various easing functions, allowing developers to visualize and choose the perfect timing curve for their projects.
-
My favourite animation trick: exponential smoothing
Something like this: https://easings.net/#easeOutExpo
The resource I come back to often for animation curves:
- Show HN: Tweening web visualisation, in Rust – (WASM)
-
Show HN: Improve cognitive focus in 1 minute
Very timely and helpful, thank you!
A suggestion: the pulse animation would look much better with ease-in / ease-out animation curves instead of the harsh linear curve it's currently using. EaseInOutSine from this cheat sheet would do fine: https://easings.net/
-
ZoomVideoComposer with UI
Play around with the easing functions, and zoom direction.
-
All possible tweening transition types and easing types.
https://easings.net/ is a classic resource too, with the math attached.
-
Animate your SVG text with animejs (and Vue)
I wanted to add a little "bouncing" at the beginning and the end of the animation of every letter. If you want to test different easing functions on your own, I recommend easings.net.
-
legal question about maths formula I found on a GPLv3 licenced website.
Sorry if my question sounds dumb : I found the website https://easings.net/ with easing functions maths formulas, the github repository is under GNU General Public License v3.0 licence (https://github.com/ai/easings.net/blob/master/LICENSE).

Side note - it's been a while since i've seen a Docco-style annotated-source-style documentation! http://ashkenas.com/docco/
Backbone.js was the first time i saw it, and I loved it! https://backbonejs.org/docs/backbone.html It demonstrated to me that the libraries I use are just normal code that other people write, and i myself can read it to understand a problem.
