Data Visualization in React using D3.js

I much prefer to use VisX for this. It provides a wrapper for D3, and allows you to use it in a declarative way. It also solves the problem of D3 and react fighting for control of the DOM. It's a really nice library

VisX is a low-level charting library by AirBnB, which uses d3 for math and calculations. It has a steep learning curve, but on the upside, it's possible to create performant and customisable charts in react.6 projects | dev.to | 22 Dec 2021

visx – Describes itself explicitly as "Not a charting library". It basically requires you to build your own charts, which makes it powerful, but also cumbersome to use.
Launch HN: Explo (YC W20) – Customer-facing dashboards and reports

Looks like you are using Highcharts and chart.js ... and Leaflet for the maps? Since you are using React, Airbnb's Visx might be a very good charting solution so you have a unified chart library with flexibility to meet customer demands in the future. Also, you will find customers demanding mobile access to their data and dashboards soon enough and having a system that is built on low level d3.js api's it will be easy to implement the charts using the same strategy visx does in React Native.
That's my two cents.

Visx is a set of low-level visualization primitives for React from Airbnb company with 13k on GitHub. If you find all three previous libraries not suited for your use-case, go to Visx and built your own React chart using well-tested primitives that Airbnb offers.
