  • What I have experienced by attending Hacktoberfest.
    1 project | dev.to | 11 Jan 2021
There were two reasons for my participation in Haktoberfest. First, the open-source software I was using was the Github Dark Theme. One time, I found something that wasn't working, so I posted an issue to the repository, and a member of the project sent it back to me and tagged the issue as Hacktoberfest. There was no verbal response to my issue, it was just a tag. I knew instantly that it was meant to send me a pull request. This event led me to participate in Hacktoberfest.
