docsify VS Docusaurus

Docsify is frequently updated; the latest release was on June 24, 2023, and the most recent update was on December 17, 2023. It is MIT-licensed and has an active Discord community.

Good idea. Instead of bookstack, I recommend something like Docsify The content is all in Markdown and can be managed in a git repo. Easy to deploy the whole website to any simple static HTTP server - or even Github pages. This way you can review contributions and have good version control.

okay new plan, does anyone know how to do this docsify on github? i obviously am a noob on github and recently on reddit. I'd like to help where i can but my knowlegde seems to be my handycap. i could provide you a trash-mail, if you need one, but i need a PO (product owner) to manage the git... i have no clue about this yet (pages and functions and stuff)

Big fan of https://docsify.js.org since theres no need to compile your static site. A small amount of js just renders markdown.

Docusaurus is a popular open-source documentation tool primarily designed for product documentation and other technical documentation needs. It was first released in 2017 by Facebook Open Source (now Meta Open Source). Just recently, Docsaurus version 3.0 was released.

How about docusaurus and tinasaurus? The latter is based on TinaCMS.

The large differences in approaches and product features led us to rebuild the documentation for Camunda 8. C7 docs are hosted at docs.camunda.org; the version 8 documentation lives at docs.camunda.io. The two different sites are built with different tooling (Hugo vs Docusaurus).
