This would have made my life so much easier in the beginning....
You can add one to the docker compose file and then route other containers (especially qbittorrent) through it by setting network-mode. Read about it here: https://github.com/linuxserver/docker-wireguard

Wireguard on host or in Docker container?
FWIW there is https://github.com/linuxserver/docker-wireguard/tree/alpine, which does just that really. It's a little more complicated because it still supports all the peer config envs, etc. but it's much smaller than the normal image because it doesn't have support for compiling and enabling the kernel module.

Anyone setup wireguard and wireguard UI in a single docker-compose?
- I am using the linuxserver wireguard docker container: https://github.com/linuxserver/docker-wireguard

What best NextCloud Setup on a budget?
To expose Nexcloud to the Intenet you would also need to deploy a reverse proxy in a container (for example Nginx Proxy Manager). If you don't need Nextcloud to be publicly available, you can deploy a VPN server (Wireguard) to securely access your local network from anywhere.

Review Storj
Then, to access it (and other services) remotely, you have 2 options: host a VPN (I advise https://github.com/linuxserver/docker-wireguard) and access unsecured services from it (most secure, but a little inconvenient), or host a reverse-proxy (i advise https://nginxproxymanager.com/guide/#quick-setup, it is the simplest way to get started). Lastly, forward a port from your router to the VPN or Nginx, and that's it.

Run torrent client behind VPN in Docker
Ok everything is running and seems to be ok if I check the container logs but if I switch to the website and the corresponding port I just see ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT any idea? Did it with https://github.com/ilteoood/docker-surfshark and QBitTorrent now. The surfshark openVPN container looks fine as the connection was established.
What are some alternatives?
When comparing docker-wireguard and docker-surfshark you can also consider the following projects:
