Setup Linux server to send email
I tried using this container and following the instructions to setup Gmail OAuth (https://github.com/bokysan/docker-postfix) but have been unable to make it work so far. I actually have an open issue there with what I've tried so far ( Unable to send - Gmail OAuth · Issue #117 · bokysan/docker-postfix (github.com) )

Help with massive Photos library please
I followed this instructions to ssh into my synology nas and install the package and download all my photos https://www.reddit.com/r/synology/comments/10hw71g/comment/j5f8bd8/ If you want to use docker it should be very similar. There is also a docker container on github that a lot of people use https://github.com/boredazfcuk/docker-icloudpd

Future first-time NAS user here (Synology DS1522+). I have decades of photos and videos, and I'd like to import them the "right" way.
I intend to use iCloudPhotosDownloader to backup approximately 5 family member's photo libraries. If anyone has advice on the best way to do this and incorporate it with my other photo archives, that'd be great!

Do you use the Photo section of Plex?
If you’re technically inclined you might want to take a look at iCloudpd running in docker. Does what you want, automatically downloads photos to a local drive from iCloud. I run it in docker on my Linux box but don’t see why it wouldn’t work on macOS equally well. Obviously will need familiarity with docker / docker-compose etc.
