Database Design Feedback
To really learn and get easy feedback use your fav db docker image, postgres, mysql(percona) or sqlite(alpine) with adminer and some test data(insert.sql) in a git repo pushed to gitlab/github.

Issues deploying Postgres onto K3s
I've been looking through bugs and error logs, and haven't been able to figure this out. I've tried the solutions suggested in https://github.com/docker-library/postgres/issues/116 by changing my data directory, which didn't work, tried messing with security context, which didn't work, and found setting the PV manually didn't work either.

Running Spring Boot App and PostgreSQL in single container
To create our Docker image, we are using Dockerfile based on openjdk:14-jdk-alpine image. So first thing we have to do is add a PostgreSQL DB to this image to have both JDK and Postgres prepared. To do so, I found official Postgres image sources and used their code to create my own image containing JDK and Postgres. Basically I just took their Dockerfile and docker-entrypoint.sh and replaced the FROM alpine:3.15 with FROM openjdk:14-jdk-alpine. Thats it. Now we have Postgres and JDK in the same image.

Do you work in an environment that maintains custom copies of every dependency in company managed repos? If so, my experience suggests your the outlier, not the people running apt, npm, etc inside their Dockerfiles.
