Should you change your DNS server (for gaming, streaming, general speed)
If you're changing your DNS, you should be setting up system-wide DNS over HTTPS anyway, and most programs that implement DNS over HTTPS (like dnscrypt-proxy) also choose the lowest latency server from a list of servers on their own

When can the ISP record the URL metadata and when is it hidden from the ISP?
You don't even need a Weepy En, just get dnscrypt-proxy. It runs a local DNS server that will connect to multiple others of your choice using DNSSEC or DoH.

Any future plans of adding an ad-blocking DNS server?
See the wiki for installation guide https://github.com/DNSCrypt/dnscrypt-proxy/wiki/Installation

What is better DNScrypt, DOH or DOT?
It should be noted that DNSCrypt v2 offers a unique advantage in the form of relays (Anonymized DNSCrypt), which ensure that domain names and client IP addresses from which DNS requests originate are not visible to providers as well (though this is subject to significantly increased latency). DNSCrypt also makes it easier to utilize multiple resolvers of one's choosing in a round robin configuration (though this can be done with DoT via clients like Stubby as well, it is a bit more time-consuming to set up).

Block lists for security
I care a lot about performance, so it'll be great to have an ads block list for DNSCrypt, minimized in size, and using wildcards: https://github.com/DNSCrypt/dnscrypt-proxy/wiki/Filters

You could also use dnscrypt-proxy (or Simple DNSCrypt for a GUI) with custom blocklists to prevent known malicious sites from loading.

Go To Site 404?
Also, change your ISP's DNS addresses from your router if possible, use something like DNScrypt (linux, windows, OS) or yogadns (for windows) (easier but not free)

Is there a perfect DNS solution?
Running your own local recursive caching DNS resolver is always good. Something like a Pihole for home networks works well. You can also host your own DNS resolver on a VPS, and then connect to it using DNSCrypt.

Any actually useful uses for Raspberry Pi and alternative sbc?
So I got a Libre AML-S905X-CC (Le Potato) to play around with but all the ideas I see online are about emulating games, running a nas, running ad blocker, vpn server, 3d printer, website hosting. All these just seem like these would be better to run on an actual server or the ideas are lame, basic, and overused. I just want some useful things that only these single board computers can do to justify their purpose. I like stuff like the PiKVM or wireless usb like VirtualHere. The Arduino has their spot for robotics and what not, but what do SBC have to offer besides being small and broad purpose? Stuff like can I make it auto start my car in the morning, attached it to a pcie port on my pc, make a cellular wifi hotspot modem thing, make a smart tv, make a robot with AI, bypass wifi router settings, make a smart door deadbolt or smart window blinds, AI caht bots, transmit landline calls to the internet, drones with facial recognition, spy balloons, kiss under the bicycle racks in walmart, watch the rat movie that cooks food, ratatoot toot, overthrow the government? Those types of ideas are stuff I see as useful but also I want to look up later if those are something that exists already.
