installing timelapse for ring camera
Hey I am trying to install a plugin to timelapse with my ring camera that i found on github ( https://github.com/wictorwilen/ring-timelapse) . i was able to get till the end of the tutorial but I came into a problem im not able to figure out. I keep on getting this error message (node:30) UnhandledPromiseRejectionWarning: Error: Refresh token is not valid. Unable to authenticate with Ring servers. See https://github.com/dgreif/ring/wiki/Refresh-Tokens. after I try updating the ring-client-api it still gives me this error. If someone got any clue let me know :)

Ring integration trouble.
I recently got homebridge installed with the help of Reddit and want to add my ring doorbell. I fumbled my way through installing the ring plugin which included searching for ring in homebridge and scanned the Homebridge qr into homekit but don’t see anything regarding ring in the home app. Can’t add the camera, no new buttons or tiles. While searching for a solution, I came across this https://github.com/dgreif/ring Which doesn’t sound like my install procedure at all. I looked at the homebridge config and it doesn’t contain nearly as much info/script as what I see in said guide. Should I uninstall the ring plugin and follow this guide?

You should be able to remove specific accessories from displaying in Home via your homebridge, you can start homebridge in insecure mode: https://github.com/oznu/homebridge-config-ui-x/wiki/Enabling-Accessory-Control which should enable you to control accessories.

Homebridge unable to add to HomeKit app.
Try the other mDNS options in homebridge. Avahi is the only one that works reliably for me to circumvent the issues you are experiencing. If you haven't already, it is easer to set up Homebridge Config UI X then make the changes there.
