The number of mentions indicates the total number of mentions that we've tracked plus the number of user suggested alternatives.
Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Is there a way to pull PC volume level to arduino HID
You have some alternatives. For one you may look into the Deej sources, it uses python to manipulate the volume level of different apps/devices so maybe it's a good starting point.

Newbie to Arduino, can it be used for pc volume control?
I allready build a controller for different applications. Try usind deej. The one that build is also have a discord with many frindly people that helpt me a lot. https://github.com/omriharel/deej/releases

Trying to interact with audio volume on windows with windows-rs
As the title says i've been trying to change volume of audio endpoints based on a serial connection via an arduino (sorta like https://github.com/omriharel/deej, but there are also buttons involved for macros and a ui via tauri). I've been experimenting with the windows-rs package to get it to work myself but i can't. can somebody link an example for this sort of functionality or a already made project with this sort of functionality?

I think I fixed my GMK spacebars with my 3D printer
The macropad is based off of Deej. There are a ton of remakes of it, so I made one for myself. The knobs are for volume on different programs.

An opensource Arduino UNO powered hardware mixer for Windows applications!
good job! reminds me of a 4 slide potentiometer 'mixer' I build a while ago, based on https://github.com/omriharel/deej

I made the Deej volume mixer so now I can control the volume of programs individually!
No, I don't mind. Here's where it is in github. The heavy lifting there is done by a very helpful IconExtractor library I found, all credit there to TsudaKageyu. I had issues getting that to do system apps so I just used the standard IconHelper.LoadIconResource.
What are some alternatives?
