I want to play daggerfall but as a non-pc player I’m having trouble with the controls, any advice?
You can get it from Daggerfall Unity's official website, dfworkshop.net. There should be a link to the download page at the top.

How do i instal Daggerfall on my Mac?
If you're trying to install DFU, go to their latest release, download the mac version, and do not use the GOG cut, it is apparently incredibly bugged, messes with a lot of mods, and using either the bethesda website's download or the steam version for the original game files (both are free) skirts around some bug that comes with the GOG cut. I don't know what the GOG cut even is, but I've seen almost every mod on the Nexus say it's bugged and to not use it, so idk. If you don't care about mods, you will. Daggerfall is a Bethesda game, so you're bound to mod it to hell and back.

Controller support?
They usually mention in their main page how to deal with controllers in their modpacks. For instance ctrl+f "gamepad" here for elysium: https://github.com/TitansBane/Elysium

Help please! I'm trying to run Elysium, I open Mod Organizer and hit run. After a few seconds, this pops up. And that's it. Main menu music plays but I can't do anything. What am I doing wrong or straight up not doing? I've spent 3 days trying to get this to download, install, and work.
Sorry if you’ve already done all this and are still at a loss. The main advice I can give is to carefully go over everything in the Read-Me that Titansbane created. It’s comprehensive enough that it should cover most install issues people encounter.
