Coming from a 8700K to the 5800X3D.. You weren’t kidding, it’s completely different world for those who play MMO games and latency sensitive games.
Also idk if it's still relevant but I had a massive fps improvement in GW2 by using a proxy dll dx12 proxy

Since its officially out of beta: what’s your opinion on dx11 performance/bugs?
Here you go

FPS fixes?
But you can also use the DX12 Converter (https://github.com/megai2/d912pxy)
If none of that is enough try out the DX12 addon.

GW2Radial v2.1 is here!
Better d912pxy integration.

DirectX11 Support is Coming to Guild Wars 2
There was a Translation-layer plugin, for years, called d912pxy that massively improved framerates and framerate-stability, maintained by a single person ... I never had an issue with it over three different systems. The Author said hhe'd probably no longer support the project after the DX11 update.
I belive this works better than DXVK for GW2.

DirectX11 Support is Coming to Guild Wars 2 – GuildWars2.com
As a stopgap solution you could look into utilizing d912pxy. It's a playermade DirectX 9 -> 12 wrapper, and while it's not a magical fix to everything, for me it increased FPS in intense situations from sub-20 to ~35-40, which is playable enough.
Worst case scenario we'll just continue using a translation layer like we already do today.

- Valve, not every game, and especially older games, can enable anti-aliasing. Just give us this checkbox, the one every GPU driver in Windows already has but the Steam Deck doesn't. I'll settle for a launch argument I can add. Come on. My Need For Speed III is so chunky and aliased. :(

Sunshine on steam deck with moonlight on Vita!
In the meantime, you can Generate a LUT yourself and apply it to games using ReShade or vkBasalt, but it doesn't apply to the system as a whole, takes a bit of work to use with each game, and there are certain games that won't work with it at all (rendering OpenGL games through Zink might help, but there are still gaps in its coverage afaik). All that effort is not for the faint of heart, lol.

You can use vkBasalt (without root) to apply sharpening, FXAA, SMAA, LUTs or even ReShade Fx shaders without having to install ReShade for each game. It will work automatically with every game using Vulkan, DXVK and VKD3D, even when using gamescope.

Wayland Saturation?
In the ticket there is also someone suggesting vkBasalt as a replacement.
-
Final Fantasy 13 anyway to have the FF13Fix and ReShade enabled at same time?
The easiest way to do this on linux is to use vkbasalt with goverlay.
-
I got vkBasalt working on Steam Deck - using the AUR package installed with yay
Download the config file for vkBasalt here and also put this into the game directory. Modify it to your preferred settings.

Do amd drivers have feature parity with windows?
Per-game colour grading can be done with vkBasalt, which can inject postprocessing effects into vulkan games (and therefore games running via proton).
vkBasalt is a tool you can use to add all kinds of effects: https://github.com/DadSchoorse/vkBasalt

I love Linux. I want to game on it. But its really difficult to rationalize a change because of issues. Help & opinions appreciated.
Install vkBasalt and apply the CAS Sharpening filter to 75/80% depending on your preferences.
You have an AMD sharpness problem in Windows, as mentioned by other commenters. Vkbasalt is the thing you need to match behaviors in Linux. Other good stuff for tweaking: mangohud (with goverlay), gamemode, proton-ge, corectrl. Since you're on Arch, maybe use the AUR to build mesa-git if you want unreleased performance enhancements, but this can be unwieldy to update and unstable, so skip it if you're unfamiliar.
