CS grad here. I started searching in sem 2 week 10. As a CS major I would say if you want to secure a job, you'll be fine. If you want to fight for those higher paying jobs, you might want to at least start preparing first, practice leetcode and system design stuff.
What type of answer one should give if the interviewer asks "How will you design Ola?" Please read description for context.
