I updated the punks gem / library to add generation of Matt & John's® ye olde punk v1/v2 anno 2017 style. The new built-in spritesheet (that is, punks_2017-24x24.png) uses the 133 images (in 24px), meta data attribute names and index order from the public permissionless blockchain contract for guaranteed 100% pixel-perfect copies (or is that originals?).

Any examples of good gem wrappers around external APIs?
Not exactly the same, but similarly I've written a hypermedia client that I'm quite happy with https://github.com/sammyhenningsson/shaf_client I really like using Faraday in combination with faraday-http-cache.
