For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Linux Touchpad Like MacBook Update: 2023 Progress on Smooth Scrolling
It's a little more than that, they then added subpixel and momentum scrolling support to Chrome that bypasses X11 and does something custom [1]. Integration problems like this one that require a bunch of coordination are harder to do in open source land.

Install Crouton and run Linux on your Chromebook without VM/container penalties. More complicated than Crostini but also better performance. https://github.com/dnschneid/crouton

Question about usage on a chromebook
IMO if you want to do this you'll need to install Ubuntu(or another fully-fledged Linux distro) on your Chromebook using either Crouton, Breath, or by flashing a Coreboot firmware and installing Linux on the hardware, then using the instructions for regular Linux. If you flash a Coreboot firmware you will in some ways un-Google the device and won't be able to use regular ChromeOS anymore unless you return to a stock firmware.

Issues with crouton
Then, I thought that those apps can be run on Linux Ubuntu. So I installed crouton using this quite well written ReadMe https://github.com/dnschneid/crouton/blob/HEAD/README.md

Functional difference between terminals?
Because it's not intended that ChromeOS users should need to modify the base operating system (e.g. to install software), it doesn't come with a package manager like apt or emerge. (However, you can install one if you want using something like Chromebrew* or Crouton*.)

PipeWire 0.3.31 released Launchpad PPA
Also Released github Wiki on development of this whole PPA how I make this. You can checkout.
Firstly want to confirm there is no connection with pulseaudio-module-bluetooth. I can't reproduce this issue, tested under 2-3 machines with different hardwares, someone also confirm the same, for more see : pipewire-debian/issues#17. you can run both side by side. This is Another false claim by debian wiki, without any reference. This proves they did not any practical exercise before writing anything on their wiki.
For this discussion is still running : https://github.com/pipewire-debian/pipewire-debian/issues/17
The second subsection …or the Github PPA under Launchpad PPA Which is marked as Deprecated is this confusing ? Since people know that section shouldn't be read. Actually initially rather Launchpad, I published PipeWire packages under github repo (master branch) as ubuntu mirror to be installed from. After publishing under Launchpad this make obsolete. And more explicitly confirm that, The development branch is using for development purpose and its active, This comes under announcement, which the beginning of the page I declared.

Pipewire support for HFP in Ubuntu 21.04
>but I gather that PipeWire is still very much a work in progress Yes absolutely. I am a Arch user. My actual goal to make this PPA, to make available latest PipeWire builds to the ubuntu/debian users as the official repo has very very old versions on every ubuntu/debian based distros. With this version PipeWire gone ahead one step further, Its much much mature now. Now Its time to test on every Linux Distros. But the maintainers not willing to push new versions to their official repositories. I'm not saying that PulseAudio needs to be replaced with PipeWire Right now but they should at least give a chance to their user to use PipeWire as beta/alpha tests. In that way PipeWire can Improve its Stability and extensibility as users can file bugs or request for new features. PipeWire will not break your system or not leave your system with inconsistent packages as dependencies are very very minimal. You also need not to uninstall PulseAudio to use PipeWire, Just need to disable and stop some services related to PulseAudio and enable some PipeWire related services. If users feels something not working with PipeWire they should report bugs to [upstream](https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/pipewire/pipewire/-/issues/new) and can be quickly switched to PulseAudio for that time only. The developers/community are very friendly they always gets back with fixed solutions to you. Like that you can also contribute on the project by helping its devlopers to fix bugs. This debian package (PPA) Holds a repo on [github](https://github.com/pipewire-debian/pipewire-debian) which is forked from original debian package from [here](https://salsa.debian.org/utopia-team/pipewire/-/tree/debian/0.3.24-3) with little bit modifications. This PPA will be published on every 15 days without any modification of its source code. Any one can view/contribute or can give suggestion related to the PPA on this github repo. I also published a [Wiki](https://github.com/pipewire-debian/pipewire-debian/wiki) on how to make a debian `.deb` package and publish on Launchpad. With this wiki anyone can study and contribute this repo. I have not did anything under the hood, Everything is on github, If anyone suspect my works, they can visit the repo and can find Whether I have included any malware/keylogger or any nasty script with this PPA.LOL 🤣 by the way.
Thank you. My intention is not bad towards the whole linux community. If I found myself harmful to the community, I will stop that moment Immediately. I am 3 years ubuntu user upto 2019, then for some bad Philosophy of ubuntu I shifted to Vanilla Arch Linux since then. (⚠ I don't recommend distro hop..!! It seriously a bad thing unless you have a very strong reason to hop). The post is because of some people like u/bigpicturemachine121 misleads people. Seriously man, There is everything under github repo he can check it, If I am wrong at some where, correct me, Give PR for some bad commit. The repo is under MIT License means the lowest restriction given to the repo, so that People are can freely contribute/distribute the code. And the most important things is the original debian/ package code is forked from original debian maintainer
u/inf4n0 you can install from PPA, Its safe. I didn't do anything under the hood, Everything is under github, you can see. And see my Post on r/Linux this and this over 80 upvotes and over 50 upvotes. And 20star at github repo
