This looks cool, but almost exactly like https://plausible.io/, even (albeit vaguely) right down to the UI...

But if you are looking for a simple, free, privacy-focussed tool to track metrics on your website then Cloudflare Web Analytics is a pretty good option. i'd recommend plausible
personally using them as API to integrate analytics for my customer's sites
main reason i choose plausible is because they're EU-based company with EU privacy values, meaning no cookies, no personal data collection and easy data export
the team is very responsive and are happy to take feedback
they make money by offering a hosted service

I've used Plausible for a couple of sites and they are good. The .js file is super small. Take advantage of their trial period so you can set it up and speed test as needed.

Plausible : https://plausible.io/ - I heard about them in the, the craft of open source podcast epsiode #2. As a privacy-first google analytics alternative, this seems like a very good option. Netlify analytics for my jam stack sites: https://www.netlify.com/products/analytics/ - I love Netlify, it's awesome. So far I 'v only used it for small hobby project sites, but I want to take a deeper dive where I investigate their analytics too. Poeticmetric : https://www.poeticmetric.com/ a privacy-first, no cookie, and no personal data tracking tool.
