create-eth-app VS web3-onboard

It's a vague question but my goto is to create a basic site with create-eth-app (similar to create-react-app, but for ethereum) https://www.npmjs.com/package/create-eth-app

But I've probably seen more jobs looking for more "standard" frontend work on websites and apps - primarly javascript based on react or maybe vue. I think this create-eth-app repo looks nice for making eth apps.

You need to use Web3. You can take a look at https://github.com/paulrberg/create-eth-app. The boilerplate already connects to different wallets like Metamask.

create-eth-app v1.4.0 supports contract deployments to IPFS.

In the quickstart of web3-onboard [1], the first lines are used to import node modules (which can't be done in the browser) and then awaits some user action (that presumably take place in the browser) ... in the same file ?!

Wallets that work with Gnosis Safe need to work with the Blocknative team to have their SDK added to the Onboard.js library. Existing compatible SWs are MetaMask, Coinbase wallet, Portis, and any SW that bridges with WalletConnect which MEW could also enable to provide support.

In order for hardware wallets (HWs) to be compatible to verify using the Gnosis Safe safeTxHash they must implement Blocknative's Onboard library into their wallet software.

Thanks for the feedback, I'll share it with the devs. The coinbase wallet problem is a blocknative issue already reported by me on their github. If I remember correctly, you can still access to the website using the browser inside the coinbase app.
