looking for a tool that takes hashcat masks and outputs an actual text file , for example i want a list that consists of passwords like this ac035c46 ("a" at the start + alpha numeric in the middle + just two digits in the end) or just this mask a?h?h?h?h?h?d?d , it wasn't possible with "crunch"
nv i switched to cracken it's a lot more flexible

Having issues downloading mentalist
If you are refering to this mentalist, it uses an old version of Python, and is a software that hasn't been updated in 5 years, I think, for security reasons Ubuntu doesn't provide older versions of Python, you have two options:

Wordlists
You can just look on GitHub for some wordlist collections. Here’s a good one that I found. But I would recommend you that you look into tools to create custom wordlists. I use cupp or the Mentalist. Hope this helps.
