So I’m looking at getting into Bitcoin mining but someone told me to look into Monero Mining first. But he didn’t day why….. why is mining Monero better? Easier?

- I just started mining GRLC with crappy hardware and I'm having a blast figuring it out! Can everyone link their favorite mining software? Everything I'm finding is at least 3 years old.

SOLO Merged Mining - Doge and LTC local (CPU and ASIC)
If you don't have an ASIC you could use cpuminer (here). You can start it very similar to the BFG call:

However 2.8 MH/s also seems low for a powerful card. I'm afraid I'm not too familiar with AMD. Could you perhaps bring this up to the miner developer by opening an issue on Github with what you have experienced? If there is something he can fix I am sure he will, he has always been very responsive when I have reached out to him. https://github.com/fancyIX/sgminer-phi2-branch/issues
