It's been a while since I ran my own mail server, but I remember Courier Mail being good.

Perfect ALARM Mk 2: Installation Part 5 (Powerline and Zsh stuff here!)
tmux-plugins/tmux-maildir-counter - Sadly, this plugin is no longer being developed. Maildir is still active, and eventually I would like to use a textual mail client (like mutt) to report a daily rundown of all the things going on the server in the Maildir format to internally log activities. It's just not going to happen with this plugin.

Is it right to blame Google/Yahoo for deprecating an email forwarding service?
Documentation for ARC is pretty sparse.
The instructions for setting it up in Exim (default MTA on Debian systems) can be found here: https://github.com/Exim/exim/blob/master/doc/doc-txt/experim...
(AFAICT, there is absolutely no mention of ARC in the main Exim documentation: https://exim.org/docs.html)

- Exim 4.96.2 – SMTP Mail Server – Message Transfer Agent (MTA) – CVE ZDI

Best alternative to on-prem Microsoft Exchange
EXIM is a popular option, though it seems to be subject to just as many vulnerabilities and exploits as exchange is.. so either way you go make sure to patch regularly

Looking for an email client with support for tags
I can either direct particular addresses to a mailbox on the VPS where they can be retrieved with POP3, or can forward them to any arbitrary address. Or anything else I can configure exim to do.
