What are the best open source tools to easily navigate directories from the command line?
Hi. fff, lf, clifm Won't say they're best or not, rather interesting and maybe worth looking at. Looked up for the z in termux's repos and it's called "zoxide" there.

I'm writing a file manager in pure BASH
I imagine fff marks many files, handles multi-file creation/deletion, moving, copying, etc. This file manager will only be made to mark a single file which is just the last file/directory you interacted with. If you need a batch file editor or something like that, this definitely will never compete there. I just want it to be super minimal, clean and efficent. I'm kind of a bloat freak; On my system wget isn't even allowed. Btw this is the best CLI/TUI file manager I know of CliFM
- Is there a CLI tool that allows quick changing of directorys?

[List] Let's talk about the software you can't live without. Here is my list
There's only one legit NC clone nowadays, that is Far Manager. Initially written by Eugene Roshal (of WinRAR fame), it meanwhile is OSS.
- C in Windows: console really (REALLY) sucks! Doesn't even have basic 1980's capabilities: to display text menus by positioning text on screen, change sectional text colors, draw basic shapes/2D graphs circles/rectangles. Thinking maybe I could learn Win32-API and make my own 80's style basic GUI?!
