That means you can check your code into GitHub source control and use your favorite tools (I use VS-Code) to develop Apps Script scripts. Best of all, it allows you to automate the Apps Script code deployment by using Github Actions.

As addition. You may want to develop in vscode (what I like to do) and use clasp clone / push your code. With types installed you have autocomplete. You can make a .claspignore for you test files and the node_module folder.
