Software and tools for (non-human) genomics data platform
Our first instinct is to use [CKAN](https://ckan.org) for cataloging (and storage, with modifications), especially since we know it and know that it has been used successfully elsewhere. However, we suspect that more specialized/better tools exist for this, thus why I kindly ask for your insights.

We are digitisers at the Natural History Museum in London, on a mission to digitise 80 million specimens and free their data to the world. Ask us anything!
We publish all our data on the [Data Portal](https://data.nhm.ac.uk), a Museum project that's been running since 2014. Instead of MediaWiki it runs on an open-source Python framework called [CKAN](https://ckan.org), which is designed for hosting datasets - though we've had to adapt it in various ways so that it can handle such large amounts of data.

CKAN not updating
We had Windows users in the past where some GitHub domains were overridden in the hosts file, maybe check that. Also check if you can access https://raw.githubusercontent.com/KSP-CKAN/CKAN-meta/master/repositories.json and https://github.com/KSP-CKAN/CKAN-meta/archive/master.tar.gz in your browser. If it works, it means something is interfering with CKAN specifically, if not, you know that it is blocked system-wide.

Which version are you missing? CKAN has v6.99.0, which does appear do be the latest one according to the forum thread as far as I can see.

RP-1 Doesn't show up in CKAN
Yes it is marked as compatible with KSP 1.10.1 in CKAN, and no, getting it manually is not the right way for RSS/RO/RP-1.

Yes and no. The way CKAN works is that there are tens of thousands of metadata files, one for each mod release. It contains all the necessary data CKAN needs to know about the mod, like installation instructions, dependencies, compatibility, version number...
